A 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg on Saturday afternoon in Barreiro, confirmed by the Public Security Police (PSP) to Notícias ao Minuto.
The alert was issued around 4:45 PM, and the incident took place on Rua Nossa Senhora Madre de Deus.
The teenager was transported to Nossa Senhora do Rosário Hospital in Barreiro, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
Reports suggest that a disagreement between the victim and the assailant led to the shooting. Observador reports that the crime may have originated from an attempted mobile phone robbery.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
