A tragic incident occurred in Lisbon early Saturday, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old girl who was hit by a vehicle.
The incident reportedly took place at approximately 12:10 AM near the Santos train station.
Emergency services rushed the victim to Hospital de São José, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The driver involved in the accident fled the scene but later surrendered to the Public Security Police (PSP) at the station in Largo do Rato a few hours later.
Efforts to reach the PSP for confirmation have so far been unsuccessful.
