A 15-year-old girl sustained injuries in a shooting at Casal do Silva neighborhood in Amadora on Wednesday, involving approximately 40 individuals, confirmed Amadora Volunteer Firefighters to Notícias ao Minuto.
The victim was brought to the Amadora Fire Station around 3:30 PM by family members with minor injuries.
Despite the minor nature of her injuries, firefighters decided to transport her to the Hospital Fernando Fonseca, also known as Amadora-Sintra.
Commander Mário Conde of the Amadora Firefighters stated to Notícias ao Minuto that the fire services did not go to the shooting scene but mentioned that the Public Security Police (PSP) was present there.
“The PSP usually does not allow our involvement in such cases,” Mário Conde explained.
Notícias ao Minuto has attempted to contact the Lisbon Metropolitan Command (COMETLIS) of the PSP but has not succeeded yet.
