A 16-year-old teenager died after being stabbed in the abdomen during a brawl involving several individuals on Thursday night in Odivelas, Lisbon district.

The Public Security Police (PSP) reported that they received an alert at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday about a commotion involving approximately 15 people on Rua 25 de Abril, Odivelas.

Upon arriving at the scene, PSP officers found four injured individuals, who were taken to the hospital. One of them was in very serious condition with an abdominal stab wound.

The victim taken in serious condition was a 16-year-old male who later succumbed to his injuries at Beatriz Ângelo Hospital in Loures, according to Correio da Manhã and Jornal de Notícias.

The case has been transferred to the jurisdiction of the Judiciary Police (PJ). When contacted, PJ stated they currently have no further information regarding the incident.
