A 17-year-old girl was stabbed on Wednesday morning in the city of Abrantes, Santarém district.
The incident occurred near the Lidl supermarket in the city center, as reported by the Abrantes Fire Department.
The alert was raised at 10:37 a.m., and the girl was found with stab wounds before being transported to Abrantes Hospital.
The Public Security Police (PSP) confirmed the arrest of the suspect but did not provide further details about their identity or the relationship between the victim and the attacker.
However, it is reported that the suspect may be the ex-boyfriend of the victim and is also a minor.
