A young man died today following a motorcycle accident in the municipality of Porto de Mós, district of Leiria, according to sources from the Civil Protection and the National Republican Guard (GNR).
The GNR reported that the alert for the accident on the National Road 242-4, in Torrões, reached the authorities at 7:50 am and the victim was 18 years old.
The Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of the Leiria Region stated that resources from the Porto de Mós Volunteer Firefighters, GNR, and National Institute of Medical Emergency attended the scene, with a total of nine operatives and five vehicles.
