An 18-year-old woman has been missing for several days in the Almada area, and the case is under investigation by the Polícia Judiciária (PJ). Carolina Torres, known as Noori, was last seen on Thursday, October 9, according to her family.
The student was last spotted in Praça São João Batista in the center of Almada, and “was supposed to meet a friend but never reached her destination,” according to an appeal shared by her mother on social media.
“She was wearing dark baggy trousers and probably a dark jacket. She may also have several blue accessories,” the statement reads.
Carolina Torres’ mobile phone remained on until Friday night, the day following her disappearance, but calls were never answered.
In a post shared on Monday, Carolina Torres’ mother indicated that “the last supposed location is around Charneca da Caparica and the Pragal area as well.”
Contacted by Notícias ao Minuto, the PJ confirmed that the Setúbal branch of the Polícia Judiciária is investigating the disappearance.
