A 20-year-old man died today following a collision between a motorcycle and a car on the Itinerário Complementar (IC) 2 in Pinheiro da Bemposta, Oliveira de Azeméis, Aveiro, a police source disclosed.
The Aveiro GNR indicated that the accident resulted in the death of the 20-year-old male.
The alert for the incident on the IC2 was issued at 8:30 PM.
A spokesperson from the Sub-regional Command of the Porto Metropolitan Area reported that emergency services were deployed to the scene, including firefighters from Oliveira de Azeméis, the Santa Maria da Feira Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER), and the GNR.
A team of psychologists from INEM was also dispatched to the location.
