
The suspect, who has already been heard in the Judicial Court of Bragança, is prohibited from contacting the victim, his 20-year-old partner, by any means or through third parties, and from approaching her residence, workplace, and other locations attended by the victim, within a radius of 300 meters, monitored by an electronic bracelet.
In a statement, the GNR clarifies that in the context of an investigation, officers found that the suspect exercised “psychological, verbal, and physical violence” against the victim.
Following the action, a detention warrant was executed.
The GNR reminds that domestic violence is a public crime, and reporting it is a collective responsibility.
