A 23-year-old man has been remanded in custody following his arrest on suspicion of residential burglary in the municipality of Coruche.
The National Republican Guard (GNR) announced in a statement released on Friday to the press, that two men, aged 20 and 23, were arrested on Wednesday as part of an investigation into residential burglary.
Police inquiries led to the identification of the suspects and resulted in the execution of two arrest warrants.
The detainees were brought before the Judicial Court of Coruche. The younger, aged 20, was placed under bi-weekly reporting conditions at the local police station, while the older individual received the harsher measure of preventive detention.
