A 27-year-old man has been arrested by the Judiciary Police (PJ) in Horta, Azores, on strong suspicions of drug trafficking.
The PJ stated that the suspect “was in possession of eight kilograms of hashish,” which has been seized, and “this amount would be enough for 40,000 individual doses.”
The detainee has already appeared for an initial police interrogation and has been placed under preventive detention.
