The Sub-regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Viseu Dão Lafões reported that authorities received an alert at 10:33 PM about a crash on National Road 16 in the locality of Nespereira.
Fourteen personnel from the fire department, the National Institute of Medical Emergency, and the GNR were at the scene, according to the Sub-regional Command.
The GNR confirmed that the fatality is a 33-year-old man.
