A 52-year-old man who had been reported missing in the municipality of Vale de Cambra was located on Tuesday by the National Republican Guard (GNR).
A statement from the Aveiro Territorial Command indicated that proceedings began following a report of the man’s disappearance on June 16, at 12:00 PM.
The man was found at 12:30 PM yesterday in Serra da Freita, in the locality of Urro, Arouca municipality.
“Due to signs of physical weakness, rescue services from the Arouca Volunteer Firefighters were activated to assess his health condition and provide emergency medical care,” the note stated.
The police action was reinforced by the Territorial Post of Arouca and supported by the Arouca Volunteer Firefighters.
