
A 54-year-old man was stabbed on Monday afternoon in Tercena, Oeiras.
The Lisbon Metropolitan Command (COMETLIS) reported that the incident happened around 2 p.m., involving an attack “with a bladed weapon,” resulting in a “slight cut to the abdominal area.”
The man received assistance at the scene from firefighters and a Medical Emergency Vehicle (VMER). He is now at Hospital Fernando da Fonseca, known as Amadora-Sintra, under medical observation. His health condition is currently unknown.
Police suspect the victim may have been targeted in a robbery.
The assailant is “on the run in an unknown location,” the authorities also revealed.
