A 54-year-old woman has been missing since the night of Wednesday, November 26, in Arraiolos, Évora district.
A source from the National Republican Guard (GNR) informed that searches began at 11 PM yesterday and are continuing today.
About two dozen GNR officers and firefighters are on-site, along with several locals assisting in the search efforts.
Currently, there are no leads on the woman’s whereabouts, who may be “disoriented” despite “being from there and knowing the area well.” “No one has seen her, neither on the road nor anywhere,” a military officer stated, adding that she did not take “a mobile phone or a car.”
The alert regarding her disappearance was raised by her husband late on Wednesday, noticing her unusual delay. She is a teacher by profession.
