A 59-year-old motorcyclist died today after veering off the road in Sertã, located in the district of Castelo Branco, a source from the Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) confirmed.
The alert for the accident was received at 4:55 PM, at which point emergency services were dispatched, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the GNR.
The GNR also noted that the motorcyclist’s accident did not result in any additional injuries at the site, a road area in the municipality of Sertã.
