A seven-year-old girl died this morning following a traffic accident in the locality of Alvarenga, Lousada.
The female victim was in the vehicle with another person, who reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
The alert for the accident was given at 7:33 a.m. this Friday, as confirmed by Lousada’s firefighters.
The child was transported to Hospital Padre Américo – Unidade Local de Saúde Tâmega e Sousa, where she was declared deceased.
At the scene of the accident were two vehicles from Lousada’s firefighters, with four operatives, one INEM vehicle, and officers from the Lousada GNR.
