An accident leading to a vehicle overturn occurred at 08:35, as reported by the Alto Minho sub-regional command. The unfortunate incident resulted in a fatality, officially declared at the scene by the Emergency Medical Vehicle (VMER) physician stationed at the Viana do Castelo hospital.
The Valença volunteer firefighters and the GNR also responded to the scene.
