The response included the Paredes de Coura Firefighters, the Alto Minho Medical Emergency Vehicle stationed at Santa Luzia Hospital in Viana do Castelo, the Immediate Life Support Ambulance from Valença, the Mobile Unit for Psychological Intervention from INEM, and the GNR, which deployed the Road Accident Crime Investigation Unit.
