Two men were shot at a café in Tapada das Mercês, in the Algueirão-Mem Martins parish, Sintra, on Saturday night. The suspects are currently at large.
The Notícias ao Minuto confirmed with a source from the Public Security Police (PSP) that “there is information about two men being shot,” but only one has been taken to a hospital.
The same source indicated that the victim was shot in the chest but was “conscious and stable” when transported to Hospital Santa Maria in Lisbon.
The suspects fled in a vehicle but crashed approximately 500 meters away. After the crash, they escaped on foot and remain unlocated.
The alert was raised around 9:30 p.m. on Rua Ruy Belo.
