In a statement, the PSP reported that on August 17, an intoxicated man engaged in altercations with his minor children, assaulting them by means of strangulation, punches, and kicks.
“The children’s mother and maternal grandmother, while attempting to intervene, also became victims of physical violence,” stated the PSP.
According to the document, the victims informed PSP that the violent behavior occurred whenever the suspect was intoxicated, with the first physical incident recorded in July.
The detainee was brought before a judge and was subjected to the precautionary measure of distancing from the victims and prohibited from contacting them.
