Twenty percent of scheduled flights at Orly Airport in Paris, between 3:30 PM and 11:30 PM, have been canceled due to a storm expected to last part of the night, according to the French Civil Aviation Authority.
In a statement released shortly after 3:30 PM, the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) reported disruptions in air operations, affecting both departures and arrivals, urging passengers to contact airlines for details about their flights.
The Aéroports de Paris Group (ADP) stated it was increasing “the number of staff available to assist travelers,” in addition to providing continuous updates on-site about the situation.
The ADP group also announced its readiness to extend the operating hours of stores.
According to the Météo-France website, part of the Paris region is on yellow alert for storms until 10:00 PM.
