A shooting occurred between occupants of two vehicles traveling on the IC2 in Coimbra on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident is confirmed by a source from the Polícia Judiciária, which is investigating the case and stated that “teams are already at the location of the shooting between the two vehicles.”
The Diário de Coimbra reports that the shooting happened around 5:30 PM and involved multiple individuals in different vehicles.
The Notícias de Coimbra notes that the suspects involved in the incident are currently on the run.
At the scene, authorities recovered casings, ammunition, and shells, with the weapons used appearing to be shotguns.
No injuries have been reported in the incident.
