The GNR is conducting an inspection operation today targeting agricultural workers and their transportation in the municipality of Odemira, district of Beja, according to a security force source.
A source from the Beja Territorial Command of the GNR informed the Lusa agency that the operation, which started early in the morning, mobilizes around 30 military personnel from various units of the Guard and is supported by the Authority for Working Conditions (ACT).
The same source stated that this routine operation is taking place simultaneously in three locations within the municipality of Odemira.
The results of the inspection action will be announced later by the GNR, the source added.
