In a statement, the work of Helena Ramos, born in São Paulo in 1999, is described as a piece that “stands out for its simultaneously documentary, emotional, and experimental character, intertwining the worlds of nightlife, architecture, fashion, and landscape.”
The selection was made by three individuals from the Serralves Museum: Director Philippe Vergne, Chief Curator Inês Grosso, and Curator Ricardo Nicolau.
