The Portuguese economy grew by 2.1% in 2024, surpassing the previous estimate of 1.9%, according to the annual national accounts released today by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
“The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reached 289.4 billion euros in 2024, reflecting a nominal growth of 7.1% following a 10.8% increase recorded in 2023,” while in real terms, GDP rose by 2.1% in 2024, as noted in the document.
