Train services were halted along the remaining route around 12:30 PM, with the situation currently being resolved.
A representative from Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) indicated that work is still ongoing to restore full railway service in both directions.
By 3:20 PM, trains began operating in both directions between Oeiras and Cascais but on a single track, according to IP.
