Rail traffic was suspended around 9 a.m. due to an issue with the catenary, with Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) currently addressing the problem.
The IP, when contacted, stated that there is no exact timeline for when the affected section will reopen, though they hope for service to resume this afternoon.
Meanwhile, train service between Cais do Sodré in Lisbon and Oeiras is operating normally.
