A fire broke out around 11:50 a.m. today, and by 1:50 p.m., 170 personnel supported by 45 vehicles were deployed to the scene, as reported by the Sub-regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection of Beira Baixa.
Up to that point, there were no reports of injuries or houses at risk, the same source added.
Also this morning, at 12:54 p.m., a fire began in Maceira, in the municipality and district of Leiria, which was already in resolution about 20 minutes later. By around 2:00 p.m., there were 34 personnel, seven vehicles, and three aerial resources present.
According to the Sub-regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection of the Leiria Region, no injuries were reported.
