The rail service on the Cascais Line, previously suspended between Oeiras and Cascais, has been restored, a CP source confirmed.
The suspension, which began early in the morning, was due to an issue with an overhead power line. Infrastructure management was conducted by Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP).
According to IP, service was fully restored and normalized between Oeiras and S. Pedro by 4:30 PM. Between S. Pedro and Cascais, operations continue on a single track in both directions as planned.
