The Public Security Police (PSP) of Portalegre announced the arrest of a man on Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation lasting approximately eight months.
The suspect was caught red-handed with a significant amount of drugs in his possession. Authorities seized 8,973.1 doses of hashish, 1,145.85 doses of cocaine, and 343.7 doses of ecstasy.
Additionally, the PSP confiscated 1,940 euros in cash, a car, a motorcycle, five knives, a 6.35-millimeter caliber ammunition, and other drug trafficking-related items.
The detainee is expected to appear in court today for an initial judicial hearing at the Portalegre Court to determine potential coercive measures.
