The Territorial Command of Évora of the GNR announced the arrest of individuals following a report of theft at an agricultural estate in Landeira, Vendas Novas, on Friday.
Upon receiving the report, GNR officers arrived at the scene to conduct investigations that led to the identification and location of the suspects.
“Upon noticing the presence of the Guard officers, the individuals attempted to flee but were intercepted moments later. The action resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the seizure of a vehicle and a brush cutter,” the statement read.
The detained individuals were constituted as defendants, and the case was referred to the Court of Montemor-o-Novo.
