The Azores’ Central group of islands—Terceira, São Jorge, Graciosa, Pico, and Faial—will be under a yellow weather warning from midnight to noon on Monday, as per the forecast for “occasionally heavy rainfall” announced by the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
The yellow warning, the least severe in a three-level scale, is issued by the IPMA whenever there is a potential risk affecting certain activities dependent on the weather conditions.
