
“The price update for the vast majority of EPAL’s domestic customers, approximately 85% (with an average monthly consumption of seven cubic meters and a meter of up to 25 millimeters), is 20 cents per month,” the company responsible for supplying water to the city of Lisbon stated in a press release.
EPAL also noted that “the rates have been updated in accordance with the forecasted harmonized index of consumer prices published by the Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste Services (ERSAR).”
The company also mentions the availability of the Social Water Tariff for more disadvantaged customers, offering discounts that can reach up to 93%, and a Family Tariff for households with five or more people.
