The alarm for the fire on Rua César de Oliveira in Mina de Água was raised at 3:10 PM.
Following the firefighters’ intervention, a housing condition assessment of the building confirmed four people were displaced. They are “being monitored by the municipal Civil Protection and the Social Intervention Division [of the city council].”
“Initially, they will stay with relatives until it is feasible to return to their homes,” a source stated.
