A vehicle incident at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Maia, Porto, resulted in “damages” to a TAP airline aircraft on Saturday, October 4.
A source from TAP informed Notícias ao Minuto that the damaged aircraft was scheduled for a flight to Newark in the United States, and “passengers were rerouted to other company flights.”
The Jornal de Notícias reported that the incident involved a truck colliding with a TAP aircraft, which became lodged underneath the plane.
The incident occurred at around 5:30 PM, with the flight scheduled for 6:00 PM.
No injuries were reported.
