According to the foundation, in a statement, Sérgio Mah will take office in May 2026, although the contract of the current director, French curator Benjamin Weil, concludes on January 21.
Sérgio Mah, a curator and researcher in contemporary art, is currently the deputy director of the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT), also in the capital.
