‘Hurricane’ Florence + The Machine returns to NOS Alive. Here’s the date

The British band Florence + The Machine will return to the main stage of NOS Alive at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 11, 2026.

Headed by Florence Welch, the band will present its sixth album, ‘Everybody Scream,’ which was born from “a recovery that led her to a path of exploring spiritual mysticism, witchcraft, and folk horror, as she understood the limits of her body and explored what it means to be ‘healed’,” stated Everything is New in a communication.

Released on October 31, this new work delves into themes such as femininity, relationships, aging, and death, highlighting “the dark side of banality.” The album was written and produced over the past two years by the lead singer, with contributions from musicians including Mark Bowen from IDLES, Aaron Dessner, and Mitski.

The band previously performed at NOS Alive in 2022 during the ‘Dance Fever’ tour and appeared the following year at MEO Kalorama, where Florence Welch also performed with the American artist Ethel Cain.

“Over five albums – ‘Lungs’ (2009), ‘Ceremonials’ (2011), ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ (2015), ‘High As Hope’ (2018), and ‘Dance Fever’ (2022) – Florence has become one of the monumental artists of her generation, achieving several top spots with her albums in the United States and United Kingdom and receiving numerous awards,” praised the promoter.

The NOS Alive festival returns to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 9, 10, and 11, 2026.

Florence + The Machine will join Buraka Som Sistema and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, performing on July 11 and July 9, respectively.
