In August, national airports handled 7.8 million passengers, with an average daily disembarkation of 122,400 people, marking a 5.0% increase from the same month in 2024, which saw 116,500 individuals, according to the “Rapid Air Transport Statistics” from INE.
Overall, from January to August 2025, the passenger movement rose by 4.9%, reaching a total of 49.846 million people transported.
