Inês de Medeiros, speaking at the campaign headquarters, expressed her satisfaction by noting that “Almada continues to be the great stronghold of the left.” She highlighted the victory in the union of parishes Laranjeiro/Feijó, currently led by the communist Luis Palma, who was a candidate for the presidency of the municipality for CDU in these local elections.
“We won four parish councils. We lost Costa de Caparica, but we had a great victory for the first time, which was the Union of Parishes of Laranjeiro/Feijó,” said Inês de Medeiros.
The socialist noted that the two terms were challenging but emphasized that it is with “determination and enthusiasm” that she won once again.
“We had a plan for Almada in 2017, and we are implementing that plan and intend to do so until 2029,” she stated.
