The announcement came after a meeting of the PS National Political Commission, which concluded in the early hours, following a session on Tuesday with the PS parliamentary group regarding the party’s stance on the OE2026.
According to the PS leader, there was a “general show of support” within both bodies for the proposal of abstention, described as a “demanding abstention” towards a budget “that is not of the PS” and which prompted several criticisms.
