“We see that our companies possess the talents and creativity necessary to lead in the digital world, but they are sometimes hindered by fragmentation, complexity, and administrative burdens, which prevent them from progressing and competing internationally,” stated the official at the ‘B9+ European Digital Summit’, organized by CIP in Lisbon.
In his address, the Secretary of State highlighted the Government’s strategic priorities, including the aim to “simplify and harmonize regulations” to create a “more favorable environment for companies to thrive beyond borders.”
Paulo Magro da Luz emphasized the government’s intentions and indicated that it will accelerate the “digital transformation in administration and public services, focusing on providing agile services to citizens and businesses instead of bureaucracy.”
“For us, simplification and digitalization are not a one-time reform, they should be a permanent goal and mindset,” he added.
The official also reiterated that the “digital strategy action plan” will be “launched soon.”
