
The government convened the Technical Monitoring Committee of the 5th Action Plan for the Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (2025-2027) earlier this month to advance the monitoring of the execution status of the 111 actions that comprise the plan, as detailed in a statement marking the celebration of European Anti-Trafficking Day on Saturday.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports highlighted the high level of implementation of the planned training actions, involving over 300 security force operatives and the training on child trafficking aimed at professionals from the National Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Children and Youth (CNPDCJD).
Progress in the creation of multi-force teams and the strengthening of surveillance actions in risk areas are also emphasized in the document.
The executive calls for the mobilization of public institutions, the private sector, civil society, and citizens to collectively promote a culture of respect for human dignity.
