A road traffic inspection conducted by the Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) in Trafaria on Friday resulted in the detention of an individual. The officers approached a vehicle from which “a strong odor of narcotics” was emanating, according to a police statement.
The GNR searched the vehicle and found narcotics inside.
The detained individual has been charged and will be presented before the Almada Judicial Court, concludes the GNR statement.
