The yellow alert for the islands of Flores and Corvo, due to “sometimes heavy rainfall, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms,” will be active between 3:00 PM local time (one hour more in Lisbon) on Monday and 12:00 AM local time on Tuesday.
The yellow alert is issued by the IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities dependent on weather conditions.
