A source from the Coimbra Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command informed Lusa agency that “the fire has been controlled” since 12:57.
The fire was being tackled by 225 personnel, 57 ground vehicles, and seven aerial units around 13:20, with no reported injuries at that time.
The incident began at 08:46 today, and according to the same source, the firefighting efforts continue “favorably.”
