The fire at the Hiper China store, which sells a variety of products, produced a dense cloud of smoke and caused traffic disruptions in the city area. However, according to Civil Protection, there are no known victims other than the two firefighters who sustained minor injuries.
A total of 58 personnel were mobilized, including firefighters from the Setúbal Municipal and Volunteer Fire Departments and the Águas de Moura Volunteer Fire Department, supported by 22 vehicles.
