During the same period, the CMVM made decisions in three administrative offense proceedings, two concerning auditor conduct and one related to duties of combating money laundering and terrorism financing.
In the rulings between July and September, five fines totaling 91,250 euros were imposed.
The CMVM also noted that during this period, 11 administrative offense proceedings were initiated.
Of these, six relate to auditor conduct, two concern the activities of collective investment schemes, one pertains to the violation of market trading duties, one relates to the violation of financial intermediation duties, and one concerns the violation of duties to combat money laundering and terrorism financing.
According to the regulator, as of September, there were 53 ongoing administrative offense proceedings at the CMVM.
This figure includes 18 related to violations of financial intermediation duties, 16 related to auditor conduct, nine concerning the activities of collective investment schemes, four related to market trading duties, three concerning violations of market information duties, and three related to duties to combat money laundering and terrorism financing.
“At the end of the third quarter, one case was pending a decision in the courts,” the CMVM concluded.
