In the EU, the indicator rose by 0.8 percentage points and 0.7 in the euro area from September to October.
According to data from the EU’s Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, consumer confidence is slightly closer to the long-term average, having broken in September a trend of stability observed since April.
