The arrests occurred on Wednesday as part of a drug trafficking investigation that included three home searches and one vehicle search, resulting in the seizure of 8,885 doses of cocaine, 357 doses of heroin, 110 doses of hashish, and 5,200 euros, according to the statement from the Guarda.
The list of seizures also includes a vehicle, three precision scales, several mobile phones, and various materials related to the cutting, packaging, and preparation of narcotics, as stated in the press release.
The suspects will appear at the Judicial Court of Penafiel for the application of coercive measures.
The police action was supported by the Specific Victim Support Investigation Unit (NIAVE) of Penafiel, the Territorial Post of Penafiel, and a canine team from the Porto Intervention Detachment, the statement concludes.
